October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we wanted to shine light on this amazing charity to support the month long awareness campaign. We loved their modern, witty and upbeat approach to breast cancer awareness. Rethink found a way to reach a younger audience and capture their attention.
Rethink Breast Cancer is an innovative charity that reaches out to young people concerned about and affected by breast cancer. In 2011, this first-ever Canadian charity that brings bold, relevant awareness to those under 40 marked it’s 10th anniversary. Their aim from the start and still is to foster a new generation of young and influential breast cancer supporters, ‘infuse sass and style into the cause and, most importantly, respond to the unique needs of young women going through it’.
They wanted to take a breakthrough approach to all aspects of breast cancer – medical research, support, public awareness and fundraising – Rethink Breast Cancer is thinking differently about how to beat breast cancer. Their mission is to continuously be at the forefront of cutting-edge breast cancer education, support and research that speak fearlessly to the unique needs of young (or youngish) women.
Rethink has also teamed up with a number of companies including H&M and Knix that support their initiatives- so it’s guilt free shopping for us.
